Nobel Prize

Hey hey! What do you know.... my gastro professor/lecturer, Prof. Barry Marshall (and his partner Dr. Robin Warren) got their Noble prize for proving that Helicobacter pylori (a bacteria) and not stress that causes ulcers!
What more interesting is that he (Prof. Marshall) tested the theory himself- gulping down the specimen!

It took a reeeeeaaaaallllyyyy long time to get the theory accepted and recognized- since 1974(when Dr. Warren had his theory) -if I'm not mistaken-!! And yes, I like his lecture. It was so... animated, and fun.
