While I'm at home with internet connection~
Another err.... attempt at micro shot? Not close enough but it'll do since I didn't have the correct lens ^^;
[Scenery] Ashita no Kioku~
Turn the page, new story is being written now;
What's written today, is tomorrow's memory...
Previously 'Travel With Me' (TWM); this used to be a mean of communication with my Mom while I was in Perth, now it's mainly life reflection, contemplation, and my life journey archive; with some reviews here and there. Like they said, there's more beneath the surface.

A Picture A Week: Week 37 (and quick update)
// siblings meeting @ one of the kopitiams near our house; Eid 2010
Since the five of us are scattered around, in and outside Malaysia, we thought we might just continue with this when we can get together, at least once a year...
Quick update:
- Internet hasn't been most cooperative nowadays, reported to TM, most probably cable problem; they're going to send someone to have a look sometime next week
- Orthopaedics Week 2: We drew lot, I'll have my assessment next week T_T
- "Jalan raya" will continue this week... Unfortunately the camera is 3 hours away so to those who wish for picture taking session, someone else have to be the photographers ^^;
- Read the translation lyrics for Dear Snow, love it! ♥
- Am loving NatsuNiji's OST too ♥

A Picture A Week: Week 36
This is one of the collection that I am planning to archive here. I'll bring the whole batch later on when I have more time to do the archiving properly.
One of the night shot I experimented with... This was taken... I think some time 2 years ago...
I'd like to do this again to be honest, night shot in KLCC, next time, probably with the flash-light and tripod, so I don't have to lie down on the grass to take the shot =P

A Picture A Week: Week 34-35 [Reflection]
I was reading this (or rather, viewing it) a few weeks ago: 13 Fun Self Portrait Mirror Shots
And I only realized about this post today: My Camera and I Weekly Photography Challenge
When I was reading the first article above, I remember I had taken something similar along the theme in October last year:
But because I'm too shy to join the fun in the second link above, I'll just post it here.
I'm moving a huge collection of pictures from another place to here, for archiving purposes sometime in the future (which I've been procrastinating for... err... months?), so please excuse the picture spam ^^;;;;

A Picture A Week: Week 33
Random picture. I like the bubbles. It's actually car air freshener; smell a bit like roses and pot pouri....
My sister doesn't like it tho =P
It's raining. Heavily.
Somehow...
There's pain in this heart
Sadness envelopes
Why?

Eid
Eid’ul Fitr is one of the two celebrations in Islam. You may see it spelled or called differently at different places/countries: Eidil Fitr, Aidil Fitri, Hari Raya Puasa, Hari Lebaran just to name a few but it’s referring to the same day: the day of celebration after one month of fasting in Ramadhan, a holy month in Islamic Calander.
Perhaps in Malaysia, the celebration is leaning more towards tradition in celebrating the day. When mentioning Aidil Fitri, the image that I can portray is colourful, from the scenery to the people. There’s also this image of family gathering, ‘balik kampung’ (literally meaning going back to your hometown, kampung literally means ‘village’ but in this context, your hometown), people seeking for forgiveness from the others and food. Good food.
Usually when people talk about ‘balik kampung’, it’s usually the place where family members would gather at the grandparents home... In our family, on my father’s side, it will depend on where Grandma decides to celebrate Eid. This year it was at my aunt’s house. So, on the First Raya, dad’s siblings would gather there; if you haven’t seen your cousins for the past one year, high chance that you’re going to see them there.
Years back when we were small, ‘balik kampung’ also means sleepover. The only ‘kampung’ I have is on Mom’s side (since Grandma on dad’s side lives in Kuala Lumpur now)- nowadays, we’d either go back on the First Raya in the evening, or on the Second Raya. I was sitting in what used to be the living/dining area on the upper side of the wooden house when I remembered the different designated places for different families to sleep at, with net (kelambu) hung over... and at night the kids would be outside playing with fire crackers, sharing plates with my cousins during mealtimes the next day and us little cousins taking bath together at the bathroom outside the main house... Nostalgic...
I’d have to say that it was triggered by this photo...
We’re missing a few cousins though this year... a few of them at their husband’s hometown and one is still in Australia... I miss them... How time flies.
More relative visits today...
Oh.... and for kids, Raya means Duit Raya a.k.a. angpau a.k.a. okane xDDD
And because the lyrics and melody are just beautiful, I'm sharing this with you too:

A Picture A Week: Week 32
Running so behind with A Picture A Week (>.<) but I haven't been taking photos nowadays...
These are the two new pairs (right and left) that I bought recently... because my old pairs can't stand the long ward rounds and lots of walking.... poor feet were suffering... and I've decided to add some colours, instead of the same old black XP
*runs off to visit Tok Su in Kelana Jaya*

Gift (2)
Went home over the weekends and saw a familiar package. So this was the package sent.... huh?
It's tied with purple ribbon. Inside was a smaller box, wrapped in familiar sparkly purple wrapper. The moment I saw that, I already knew who the sender was. Scrape that, the moment I saw where it's from, there's only one person I know from there.
Rachel Heow, yes I'm mentioning your name here; for your kindness, and for being the one to scrape off my perfume wishlist so fast, and for spoiling me to the max, thank you! ♥
And stop spoiling me already!
It's only a few more days till Eid... Ramadhan went by so fast (>.<)
To those who are celebrating Eid'ul Fitr, Eid Mubarak!
